An Exciting New Building Project for The Common School
The Common School has long been admired and respected for its creative, hands-on approach to teaching—the time has come for our campus and buildings to match our innovative curriculum. This year The Common School celebrates its 50th anniversary. During our long history, we have never stopped seeking ways to better support our remarkable students, educators and school community. Following in this tradition, our Board of Trustees has endorsed the Campus Planning Committee’s proposal for an exciting campus revitalization project. Our forward-looking plan will transform the School’s learning environment and lay the foundation for the educational opportunities of the future.
At the center of our revitalization plan is the construction of a four classroom building. The age and configuration of our Wing building now presents more of a challenge than a source of inspiration. Take a look at the plan for a beautifully designed two story building that is responsive to our classroom needs.
Following the completion of the classroom building, more exciting changes will begin to take place on campus, including the administrative offices moved downstairs, new parking areas and walkways, and fresh new landscaping.
