What brought you to The Common School?
I agreed to assume a two year interim Head of School position. More importantly, I’ve always had an affection for The Common School as a resident of Amherst and someone who knew families, faculty and leadership at the school during my years as principal at Crocker Farm Elementary in Amherst.
Tell us about a favorite teaching moment at The Common School:
I don’t have a teaching moment to speak of, but as the interim Head of School my favorite moments are the times I have to interact and communicate with students, faculty and families.
What do you like best about The Common School?
The unique and valuable educational experience provided by the school on a daily basis and through its in-depth studies and its interactive relationship with the environment.
