DOWN ON THE FARM
What child doesn’t love visiting a farm? Field trips are great, but at The Common School our youngest Summerfun campers are part of the day-to-day life of a real working farm, just a short walk through the woods from our campus. With the help of Farmer Hans at Bramble Hill Farm, kids plant gardens, feed the animals, make garden stepping stones and scarecrows, and more. Now that’s a reason to sing E-I-E-I-O!
Summerfun at The Common School
Does your child dream of being an Olympian, a farmer, an engineer?
Give them a taste of their dreams this summer. During summer, The Common School transforms into a vibrant day camp for kids. Open to the greater Pioneer Valley community, the program has served local kids and their families for more than 40 years. And we’re still going strong.
Depending on their age and interests, kids could explore frog ponds, wooded trails, and gardens in our Down on the Farm camp. They could design, invent, and build their own creations in our Design Squad camp. Or cheer for their friends and work with their teammates as they compete in a variety of games in our version of the Summer Olympics. And there’s more…aspiring bakers, artists, recyclers, superheroes, and Dungeons and Dragons masters will all join us this summer.
Summerfun 2022 will run from June 27 – July 29. Registration is now open!
This camp must comply with regulations of the MDPH and be licensed by the LBOH. Note about vaccinations: Our year-round staff has a 100% vaccination rate and our year-round community is 98% vaccinated. We highly recommend that our Summerfun families and campers are vaccinated to help ensure the safety of our community.
